Bespoke Upholstery

The Bespoke Upholstery is relatively new to Barretts, introduced in late 2010.  We wanted to give customers more choice on high-end contemporary and traditional upholstery – the kind of exclusive product customers might have expected to have to find further afield.

With the ability to have your choice of fabric covering, the range is perfect for those seeking to create their own unique look at home.  Combine this with a made-to-measure option, and choice of goose feather or fibre cluster seats or backs, and it’s possible to create the most comfortable sofas, chairs and love seats – perfect for you and your home.

The fabric ranges available are extensive from our newly re-furbished Softs Department.  Choose from prestigious brands such as Sanderson, Jane Churchill, Linwood, Blendworth, Harlequinn and around 20 more.  This also enables perfect upholstery co-ordination with your curtains, blinds and wall coverings.   A complete look can be created, blending colours, patterns or overall style within a range e.g. Sanderson’s 50’s collection, or Linwood’s Pondicherry Damasks.

The zany lime green ‘Catalina’ sofa from Collins & Hayes or the ‘statement’ one-armed ‘Finn’ chair from Covercraft Upholstery currently on show give a taster of what’s possible.  The ‘Burnham’ from Covercraft in Jane Churchill “Brixham Stripe” is the stunning new edition and well worth a look.
