Alstons, another great British and local upholstery manufacturer has been the mainstay at Barretts for several years now.  From contemporary to classic Alstons offer choice, quality and excellent value for money, and up-to-date style and fashions with their ever changing and in vogue fabric selection.  They combine traditional handmade skills with modern technology, such as ‘Cold Cure’ foam seat interior offering high levels of comfort and durability.  The new Portland range in particular has been extremely popular, with it’s gorgeous selection of subtle linen plain and striped fabrics.

Our sofabeds are also from Alstons and come with a wide choice of fabrics and two scatter cushions included.  The bed has a metal frame, laminated beech slats, and a choice of open coil or pocket sprung mattresses for extra comfort.  All Alstons sofas, armchairs and sofabeds come with a 10 year frame guarantee.

Barretts are proud stockists of the Celebrity range of manual and electric recliners.  If relaxation is your goal, nothing beats the smooth, quiet action of a Celebrity recliner.  The range has recently been improved, so now you can recline further, allowing you to ‘drift away’ in an almost flat bed position.  The electric ‘Lift and Tilt’ option raises the chair even higher for easier ‘walk-in’, ‘walk-out’ access. There’s also a wide choice of fabric patterns in hardwearing dralon or super soft chenille, plus a choice of superb leather colours.
