To avoid any new flooring being too noticeable whilst suggesting a good visual contrast, our flooring expert John recommended a parquet or herringbone design. This zig-zag pattern is very contemporary and elegant and adds something special to the Moon’s floor.
Our flooring fitters installed this new engineered wood precisely, efficiently and with great care. As you can see, every angle of the floor was met seamlessly due to our free measuring service as well as our team’s efforts. The perfect finish to the perfect floor!

Mr. and Mrs. Moon chose their engineered wood flooring from the Woodpecker Flooring range which is renowned for its 100 year product guarantee. They picked “Goodrich” in smoked oak which provides a multi-tonal finish along with a natural, warming feel.
They also chose the matching Scotia Trim which goes around the edge of the floor, covering up the expansion gap, to complete the look. As an alternative to Scotia, Barretts also offers a service whereby we remove the skirting board, fit the wood flooring and re-fit the skirting with the expansion gap underneath.
