A Barretts customer shares her stunning kitchen makeover.
Q: What were you looking for initially?
My search led me to Barretts as I was looking for a new kitchen floor to brighten up the area in my new extension. I knew I wanted the look of a wooden floor – but wasn’t sure of the design or material I wanted to use.

Q: What made you choose Barretts?
I really wanted to support local business, so Barretts was an easy choice, plus I liked the fact I could go in and look at all the different designs in their showroom. I was able to use the free customer car park, located at the back of the shop which was so convenient. I also liked that they came out for a free measure and estimate, bringing with them different material and design ideas for my space.
Q: How did we help in fulfilling your requirements?
Barretts provided with some brilliant advice on the best flooring for my requirements. They were also super helpful with lots of design ideas, including the different ways the flooring could lay.
After much deliberation, I decided upon Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT), in lovely smoked oak which was one of Barretts recommendations. Because I wanted something which would withstand a high-traffic area, I was sold on the fact it is scratch and scuff resistant as well as being soft and quiet underfoot.

In addition to the above points, Barretts also advised LVT is eco-friendly and is resilient to bacteria, moulds and viruses. This was important to me as my new kitchen extension area has full-length patio doors which would be open a lot of the time across the spring and summer months. This gave me added assurance about the product being right for home.
