A customer located on the Suffolk Coast needed a window treatment solution which would not compromise their stunning views.
Q) What were you looking for initially?
We were looking for the ‘perfect’ versatile, minimalist window dressing for our new build. We were not exactly sure what type of window treatments we were looking for, but we knew we did not want curtains or anything too heavy.
Complimenting the design of the room was important especially as the windows feature heavily as the main focal point in the room.

We wanted to keep the large expanse of window and wanted to keep as much of the natural light as possible so we could continue to enjoy the uninterrupted outdoor views.
We came to the conclusion that we needed a solution that provided privacy as well as the ability to block out the harsh glare of the sun, thus preventing our furnishings and floors from fading.
We are delighted with the look and feel of the room. It makes living so easy plus we have the added benefit of complete privacy when required.

Supporting local business is important to us. We always prefer to visit stores and speak to staff, especially when they are knowledgeable about the products and services they provide.
Q) How did we help in fulfilling your requirements?
On visiting the store, we described what we were looking for and we were able to preview a working example of a pleated, cellular blind product which fitted our brief exactly!

After an introduction to the sample in store we could see how easy and flexible they are to use. We were able to browse through the sample books which offered a variety of materials and colours. The sales consultant arranged for the supplier to post a selection of samples to us directly, and we were able to identify which colour and finish worked best for the space in the comfort of our own home.

We booked an appointment for Barretts measuring service scheduled at a mutually convenient time and fitting was approximately four weeks from order. The great thing about these blinds is, there is no drilling, so no mess!
We are delighted with the look and feel of the room. It makes living so easy plus we have the added benefit of complete privacy when required.
